im writing a story its about a ninja but i need a name for him and his sword any suggestions?
The ninja’s sword hilt will be blue and the blade will have a wave pattern ingraved in it. the ninja will be a 15 year old boy whos parents have been killed and hes trying to get revenge

Sword- Neune. Simple- I took the name Neptune, the god of the sea, and removed two letters. =D
Boy- The Japanese word for revenge… Fukushuu. I’d recommend naming you’re ninja Shuu. It’s short, snappy and wholesome-sounding.

Well, I’ve given a ninja name. As for a normal name, I think something a little unusual would work- maybe Harvey, Jared, Lucian or Rowan?
Call the sword WAVE.
I like the image of a wave crashing against rocks, or simply moving in a flowing pattern. Ninjas are very strict with their training and i can imagine a ninja practicing with his sword. The slow, steady movements throuthough the air, contrasted with attack thrusts. Like a wave. Unpredictable. Gentle at times, but powerful enough to break through rock
